Robert Longo projects

Inspired by Robert Longo’s 1980’s breakout “Men in the City” series with figures at the intersection of punk rock and adrenaline rush Wall Street, Painting class students reimagined and constructed a series of figures in costume in mid-action as their own expressions. Color palettes were established to set the mood/ tone, and areas of contrast were enhanced by use of textures through watercolor painting techniques. Please enjoy!
